Will-and-Marge's Great Adventure to Alaska
After 3,200 miles we now start the Alaska Highway. Only 1,400 miles to the Alaska Border, through northern British Columbia and the Yukon Territory!
Below is today's information.
Miles to this stop: 367 Sunny
Time Leaving: 8:00 Temp: 38 Arrival Temp 57+
Accrued miles to Date: 3212
Saying for the day: No matter how big your house, how new your car, or how big your bank account, our graves will always be the same size.
Another sunny, chilled morning to start out on today's journey. We will arrive Dawson Creek today, a bit earlier than planned. Milepost ZERO!
Passing signs that say: Moose Crossing and Moose Row. LOOKING…!
We see a large manufacturing plant on one side of the road and a large Casino on the other side. And we see our first "Yukon" license plate. Our next Yukon license plate is right beside us in the Campground.
Arrive: Dawson Creek, Mile Post Zero Campground at 3:15 pm MDT
How long staying: three nights
