We woke to a beautiful sunny morning with more blue skies. Went to town to the Visitor's Center and got a whole lot of useful information from some wonderful chatty folks who work there, on Anchorage and our next stop, Whittier. Then we walked around the 'main' street and checked out all of the, well, most of the little shops and some big ones too. Lots of energy in this city and vendors selling reindeer sausage on the street corners. No nerve to try one, maybe tomorrow…

After lunch we drove to Cook Inlet. The water was way out and a couple big ships were drifting along. There was a lovely biking/walking path, the' Coastal Trail' and we walked way out and back and really enjoyed the sea air and the sunny breezes.
