Well our Spanish isn't that great. We accidentally set up and Uber ride to Tenotiaclan instead of Teotiaclan where the Pyramid of the Sun is. So, we took an extra long tour of Mexico City. It is a dirty city, trash is everywhere. The smog makes all of the buildings dirty
There was a beautiful school with a large campus as well as a huge medical center that was architecturally beautiful despite its dirty surface. Several of the old historic buildings popped up along the way. The graffiti throughout the city is used for a variety of things. Some seek as though they are typical graffiti, kids expressing themselves, but others advertise concerts in the area or are even government based.
I can't imagine living here. It's one of those cities that makes you grateful for what you grateful for the infrastructure we have in the States. There are also stray dogs everywhere! The mangy mutt that jumped off the roof to scare us was the only one that we saw that was aggressive. However, they look super scary!! We've seen several Rottweiler Pitt bull looking mixes. They have junkyard dog collars on some, so someone must feed them or take care of them at some level. It's just alarming to see.
The Raiders and Texans are playing each other here today, so that has been fun to see all their fans in their gear all over the city. We thought about going to cheer on Tyler and the rest of the Texans but tickets started at $350 each!!!
