Our first stop on the way to Queenstown was at this great little place called puzzling world. It contained loads of wierd illusions, a maze and a crazy slanting room, which when you stood in one corner you looked like a giant and in the other you looked tiny! Gem and I ended up competing with the boys in the maze to find the exit. Hillariously we were informed by some concerned onlookers that they had cheated 'and not just on one occasion.'

Our next stop was at the Kawarau bridge, which was the first comercially operated bungy sight in the world. I like watching people bungy - thats all. Although this was the first one I was beginning to get tempted on. Too bad it was time to leave. Its just the fact ur plunging head first!

Queenstown is New Zealands adrenaline activity centre, however i'd done most of the activities I wanted to by the time I got here as they tend to be cheaper elsewhere. The town is in a gorgeous setting right between mountains and next to a lake (well they all are!). It is a popular ski resort in season, and the final destination of the main leg of the kiwi expierience. It is therefore the place where people end up staying for a while, subsequenly we bumped into loads of people we'd met along the way and had a big farewell night. Still dont know their names.

The next day we had to check out the renouned fergburgers - possibly the best burgers ever and the biggest! We also took the cable car up the overlooking mountain to watch our friend jonny do another bungy, this time incorporating a double somersault. We spent the afternoon finding the best deals for Fiji and getting very excited about it - we need a holiday after this. Got a great island hopping deal for 25 pounds a day - transport, 3 meals and accommodation all included - how good is that!
