14/10/2009 - We had breakfast on the river in Tha Ton then got in a longtail boat which took us to Chiang Rai. 13/10/2009 - We had to get up really early to get the local bus to Tha Ton which is a tiny little town in the north of thailand between Chiang Mai and Chaing Rai. 08/10/2009 - We arrived in Chiang Mai and went to the hotel which also had a really nice pool. We decided to go to the Tiger Kingdom as tom really wanted to see a tiger. When we got there you had to choose which size tigers you wanted to go in with, I opted for the small tigers that were about 5 months old, Tom however went for the BIG tigers!! They were huge. 07/10/2009 - We had a really early start as we had to get a 'chicken bus' as the locals call it, to Ayutthaya. Louisa didnt feel very well in the morning but managed not to be sick on the bus.
