So I think I am almost up to date now.

These first three post cards are dated recent and at Melbourne as I forgot to back date them!!!

On Monday I took the Grey Hound bus to Canberra for a quick stop over before moving on to Melbourne. Not a bad journey at all but what a strange town! A governmant town which seemed to be desserted. New buildings and generally the place had no soul to it. Lucky for me I was catching the bus the next day and only had one nights stay.

Left Sydney at 9.15am and got in at Canberra at 12.30pm. Just wondered around litterly. the city is set up in two circles with roads coming off, not in blocks like Sydney. So by 4.00pm in the afternoon I gave up! Found a great noodle bar and had a beer and dinner.

Tuesday I mooched about in the morning before heading off to the bus station catch the bus to Melbourne. A long journey, departing at 12.30pm and reaching Melbourne at 9.00pm with a stop off at Aubury for a break. But really pleasent had both seats to myself so could spread out. Descided once in Melbourne I would try and carry my ruck sack on my back instead of wheeling it along. Boy was it heavy!!!!!!!!!!! Anyway after asking for directions I got on the right tram to the hostel. A really friendly place and good location. Got a room with 7 other girls! God they were messy!

After a good nights sleep I got up and checked out as I was meeting a cousin who was going to put me up for a bit. Melbourne is abit like Sydney but alot more relaxed and looked even better in the day. AS I made my way across the city I became excited at all the places to explore. We met up and went back to their house a 45 minute drive out of the city. We spent the rest of the afternoon catching up.

So that brings us bang up to date. Today we went to St. Kilda, a beach area like Bondi beach just out of the city for a walk around to familarise myself with the area, before heading off for lunch. For the next couple of days I am going to chill by the pool and plan where to go next and what to see. Will aim to get my photos put on tomorrow so keep watching.
