Kyoto station is such an architectural feast for the eyes. We explored by tall steep escalators that take you high up into the sky, with great views of Kyoto. Right across from Tokyo Tower, we were able to get a glimpse of the city we will return to at the end of the trip. The highlight was the Skyway, a walkway suspended in the sky connected between two towers. It's Skye's way or the highway!!!
