Well three weeks has been an amazing experience away from life as we know it. Japan is a whole other world. I didn't know what I was getting myself into until we arrived three weeks ago tonight. Japan is full of cultural treasures like the beautiful temples and shrines with their emasculate gardens. I can appreciate the people's devotion to their faith and love the natural places we visited which are for sacred spaces. I didn't know that the trains would be so busy or the lights so bright, or the people moving so fast. There is crazy everything here! Food, technology and architecture are all light years ahead of us. The people are kind and generous, interested in why we have come. And my experience of Japan had been unforgettable! In 6 hours we leave for the long flights home and look forward to sleeping in our own bed and a homemade meal. Praying for a smooth flight over to Canada, and safe landing in Vancouver! So, we are homeward bound, and look forward to seeing you soon.
