we arrived in thailand at about 4am to check into our hotel where we meet our tour group. lucky for us it was an expensive hotel definatly one we couldnt afford, we checked in and found our room and fell straight asleep till about 12 midday. (obviously we were tired). it was a nice room with tv and nice marbled bathroom.

we decided to take a look around bankok which led us onto a main road that was unnamed for some reason but it was always full of tourists! after getting a bite to eat we realised we were sat in a bar where the waiters/waitresses were all blokes! so whatever you hear about bankok, yes it is full of lady boys! other than that the food was delicious! before we knew it it was 5pm and were going to have to meet our tour group. so we made our way downstairs to the reception where we were mobbed my jeab and ca (our guides). they took us into a small room round the back ofreception and breifed us.

in total there were 10 of us and 2 guides.

two germans - julia and sandra, two ozzys - sam and fiona, two south africans - sam and kate, one brit - jen, and one scottish - mick.

we all had our breifing and set out for a meal just off kaosan road. it was bloody expensive but we didn't really mind because we got to mingle with some new people. mick couldn't come becasue he had to meet his freind in gullivers just off the famouse kaosan road (even though we didn't know it). so he told us to meet him and watch some footy, man u vs arsenal!

the next morning we have to set off to the train station to go to up north!
