As it was, we didn't wake up until our normal time as I think we were feeling a little sad as our holiday was slowly coming to an end. We hooked up and popped in to see our fellow travellers for one more last goodbye. The plan was to stop in Exmouth do a dump drop, topup with water and head towards Coral Bay. We finished up at Exmouth about 8.50am and arrived for a cuppa at Coral Bay about 10.30am. It's a very busy little place, two caravan parks and lots of vans lined up in the street waiting to secure a spot. The beach looked nice with an area of shallow water before it obviously dropped away. There were glass bottom boats taking people out to view the reef as this area is still part of Ningaloo.

We headed off only stopping again for a 20minute lunch break about 12.30pm. We couldn't get over the amount of livestock that was on the side of the road. I took a photo of a sheep that ran out in front of us. There were cattle, goats, sheep and even two emu's all grazing too close to the road and lots of evidence of many who had been hit while trying to cross in front of the traffic. There were fences but all these animals were on the wrong side, always where the grass was greener.

We were hoping to get to Overlander 190km from Carnarvon for the night. Instead we have pulled up at a "P" spot (18km short) that has access where we could get back further off the road. This was perfect, Glenn was still feeling good but when we saw this spot we knew our day could finish a little earlier. We are however alongside a humming electric fence, no wandering around in the dark tonight without the light on!!
