Enjoy Curtin Springs was a free camp on the RHS as you drive in to Uluru, showers were $1.00 good food and beer too.
Must see Kings Canyon bit of a walk (5-6 km) but worth it make sure you have a least 2 litres of water each. Must stay for the sunset at the rock amazing photo time and a couple of drinks with nibbles get there early for a good spot.
Look at it this way, life is tough and someone's got to do it may as well be Glenn & Virginia.
