It was another hot hot day in Melbourne! I had a long lie, and when I woke I actually felt rested :) Late morning I headed for the swimming pool again, but this time I took Kats bike! Yes me on a bike.. I can't remember the last time I used my bike at home so it took me a minute or two to ride in a straight line! It was obviously much quicker and got there within ten minutes.

I really enjoyed the swim, and managed to swim for an hour. I'm still in the slow lane though :) I wonder how long I'm going to keep this up for..!

Anyways I came back to the flat and had a light lunch while waiting on Ciara and Kat. It was 38 degrees and we were all going to head to the beach but there were health warnings about swimming in the sea as the christmas storms had made the water all black around the beaches. We decided to all head to Johns apartment again as he had a swimming pool!

As there was loads of drink left over from hogmany we all had a few cold beers or ciders before heading down to the pool for some sunbathing :) While Kat, Ciara, Madilyn and I toasted out in the sun, John put the BBQ on. All his flat mates were either on holiday or home in Ireland for New Year, so it was just the 5 of us that had a BBQ out on the balcony.

It was so relaxed and he had air con which was a bonus :) We just continued with the relaxing and came back to the flat about 8ish and chilled. I'm really enjoying some quiet time and getting caught up with myself.

For the third time on my trip I actually spoke to Kylie, this time it was on skype which was fine to get a yap.

Tonight seems to be the hottest evening yet, we've had the fan on full blast all evening. Time will soon tell whether I'll manage to sleep or not.

I actually feel on holiday this week with these temperatures :) xxxxx
