Well I slept until 9.30am! I really can't believe it. I'm preparing myself for partying down under with Adz :) 4 sleeps... or 3 sleeps in a bed and 1 sleep on a plane! Eak.

I really need some cheap backpacking clothes and dresses, the shops I was in yesterday were all ridiculously expensive for hostel washing machines.. So I headed off on my own to the biggest shopping mall in Cape Town. The Canal Walk. I waited for the shuttle bus as a taxi was going to cost far too much.

When I arrived I felt like I was going into a huge fancy hotel. It was amazing. Firstly I found a nice restaurant to have lunch before hitting the shops. I managed to find cheap hostel style shops hehe and got exactly what I was needing, vest tops, shorts and jeans. I hunted everywhere for a cardigan and a dress that I could wear for Christmas and New Year with no luck :(

I got the shuttle bus back at 4.30pm which turned out to be perfect timing. The shuttle dropped me right at the hostel door as well... bonus! Clare, Michael, Grant and Matt were all at the hostel when I got back. The boys decided to head to the waterfront for a night out but Clare and I weren't sure what to do tonight. We showered and had wine while we got ready to go out.

I managed to have a quick conversation with Auntie Rosemary on viber which was super :) Then Clare and I headed to Rafiki's bar where Phoebe, Nicole ad Chris were meant to be but it turned out that they had left by the time we arrived. It was so busy we had to share a table with a father and son from Jo'berg. They turned out to be a great laugh and the two of us spent most of the night with them, well until Nicole, Phoebe and her cousin Sandy joined us.

I had a fab night with Clare! We were ready to go back to the hostel about midnight especially as I was going on a FULL day wine tasting tour tomorrow. But then Michael and Matt appeared as the party at the waterfront finished, so it was fun all having drinks together again!!! (1 night apart was toooo long lol).

Nicole, Clare and I headed back to the hostel and I was sound asleep before I switched off the lights!!!

I still LOVE Africa more than anywhere! xxx
