first evening of the tour was a get together with my fellow travellers,a drink and a basic run down of what to expect.

I had a group of 25 Americans,2 Canadians,1 English woman,myself,and our driver/guide.then on to merry ploughboy pub for a great 3 course dinner,Irish coffee, a fantastic show with popular Irish songs and Irish dancing.

day 2 we were on the bus early and off to through the Midlands of Ireland,stop for a photo shot of cashel castle, which was closed to visit as it was uhh having restorations.a few miles outside of cork we visit blarney castle and walk to the top to kiss the famous stone of eloquence,some time to walk around the gardens,lunch and a look at the blarney woollen mills,I ate a broccoli salad, had a 5 minute look around the woollen mill but some more time walking around the beautiful gardens .continued on through macroom and into county Kerry, we arrive at the plaza hotel in killarney ,we stayed here for two nights,a very big, flash hotel. ,it was very tempting to have one or two of their spa treatments but sadly no time. Dinner was provide at the hotel.
