ready to move again ,so much to see and do.today Dublin castle and tower,Chester Beatty museum ,st Patrick's cathedral,Christchurch cathedral, dublinia museum,a walk around merrion square and Oscar Wilde park.it was definitely time to visit the Guinness storehouse.very interesting and set out well, 7 floors up to the gravity bar for the compulsory Guinness, what spectacular views all around. after slowly sipping Guinness, checking out the landscapes ,chatting to a few people who were also drinking Guinness and admiring the view(funny that, what else would you drink),it was back down stairs to the gift store and great intentions of visiting a museum or gallery but on my way out I was diverted to Arthur's bar, live Irish band music and singing ,a burger ,and another Guinness or was it two...a couple of hours later ,back on the bus ,oops missed out on the museum as it was past closing time.
not to worry I had a grand afternoon.
A quick change abd what I thought was a 15 minute walk to a dinner abd show, walk was 30 minutes .arrived in plenty of time.
the show was held at Dubliners oldest pub,an evening of food, folklore and fairies.what a magical, informative, funny evening.an entree, beef and Guinness stew, just to keeping with the theme of the day and Apple pie for desert.
