an hour to look about Ardara in the morning,then a bike ride up to a waterfall and then down to the beach.a picnic on the beach and a lesson in hurling. drove to a frame owner by Josie (75 yr old man ) we rented his old,leaky row boat and rowed out to a little island on loch Doon to an old fort ruin.more history and legends ,a walk around the fort and up on the wall,back in the row boat and a walk back up the hill to the bus.thanks Josie the farmer it was a great adventure. more walking and check out an old huge stone placed on two others,like a massive table top.stories and myths were told,photos taken and back to Ardara for dinner at Nancy's,tasty food,desert eaten,beer consumed and down to the bee hive for more fun.back before midnight,very tired ,another early start the next day.
