Last night we spent AGES looking for something for tea, wandering about trying to look for Japanese cuisine, that A) looked appetising, B) was cheap enough and C) we knew what it was! But we found nothing of the sort, it all looked revolting and sloppy, which wasnt doing my hunger pangs a favour! So we headed back to Bar 23 where we knew did some Japanese dishes, and we both ordered this noodle dish which had carrot, sweetcorn, ginger, some string bean things, some 'bonito' flakes, all in a japanese sauce, and eaten with chopsticks of course! Surprisingly it was actually quite nice, but i couldn't imagine eating that type of thing on a daily basis! it was really oily/greasy! But good enough for 2.50!! haha.

Today has been really nothingy! We got up at around 10ish, and decided to look for a place to stay for when we get to Hong Kong. Emailed a hostel to enquire about rooms and prices, then headed into town to get some lunch and to give them chance to reply. Walked around the shops STILL trying to find a shotglass (for all of you who know my obsession with worldly shotglasses!) and struggled! They just seemed to be selling them in Sake sets of 5, for about 4/5 quid! So i was getting all flustered, as had been looking all week, but eventually thank the lord, jen spotted a lone one hiding in the midst of all the japanese kitsch!! Hurrah!!! So we had some lunch and came back to the hostel as there wasnt really much else to do, so we stuck 'the breakup' film on, and slobbed infront of it. Got an email back from the Hong Kong hostel so we have booked our first night there. Going out for tea in a min and early night as i think we have to be up at 5am tomorrow!!! Aaaaggghh!!
