A friend of ours has leant us his mum's car, as she is in London for a few weeks. As Oz is so damn big, a car is so handy! We can both drive it and they drive on the same side here so all is good. We are particularly fond of the furry seats. :-)

We went to the food and drink festival " A Taste of Melbourne" last night, which is basically just an exhibition of various foods, with lots of things to taste, nom nom nom! Carl and Lucy got a cosmopolitan cocktail making lesson, we tried all sorts of oils and chutneys and cheese and wine and an espresso martini! All packed and ready to go to the airport to go to Kate's Lake Como Wedding! Our stop off is Hong Kong, then direct to Milan Malpensa airport Thursday 1st Septemeber. We have booked into an hotel by the airport, to get some rest! Then we will pick up our hire car the next day and drive to Lake Como to meet the wedding planner, who will take us by boat to the villa where the wedding is.
