The temperature finally dropped about 4am this morning when I woke up cold and had to put the doona on! So different from yesterdays heat.
We headed along the Great Ocean Road and up to Anglesea. The coastline is beautiful and we stopped at Anglesea to take a look at the beach.
Also stopped at the infamous Bells Beach. Not much of a wave here today!
We went onto Torquay which was packed. The caravan parks were overflowing and there was a surf life saving carnival of some sort on so there was absolutely no parking to be found - especially with Winnie on the back!
We went up to the boat ramp beach area and had lunch at the beach there. We went into the Surf Museum which was really interesting and full of old surf boards adn other paraphenalia.
As there was no room at any inn tonight, we kept going up the road and managed to find room at a caravan park at Werribee South near the beach.
