Had a late start of 7am this morning. We continue our trek to the next village of Oasis where they have a swimming pool (hurray!). The trek is going to take about 4 hours and there are both up and down bits so I am apprehensive after yesterdays drama! Oh well the only way out of here is on foot so I have no option but to give it a go. We also have a new member to our group a small dog with no tail (with serious anger management issues!) Got to our destination in good time with my breakfast still in my stomach (hurray!)Spent a wonderful afternoon swimming and playing cards (we have taught all the group how to play blob, unfortunately we must be too good at teaching as most of them beat me and Nick!) Dan the Aussie still has more stories to tell from his huge repartee to keep us all amused, although Nick thinks some may be repeats but he cannot be sure as he has turned his hearing aid off at regular intervals!! Tomorrow I can hire a Mula (mule) to take me up the mountain, which I arranged as soon as possible as the climb up is going to take 4 hours! We all had an early night as our guide wants to start off in the dark to try and get to the top before the sun comes up.
