Went to Argentina on the bus today to see the Iguassu Falls from the other side. I did think it would be the same but was wrong they look even more amazing from Argentina. Whilst in Argentina we did learn a couple of things:
1. They do not understand the basics of plumbing - if a pipe is used to transport water or some other unmentionable liquid it should end in a drain, if it does not it results in flooding! It was not pleasant and it was not just once!
2. You can smoke wherever you like - today I inhaled 1 marijuana joint (obviously the recreational drug of choice in South America) and 3 Marlboros - GRATIS!
Whilst there we did try and purchase a momento of our trip which would be associated with Argentina, after much searching and thinking we could only come up with two things Corned Beef (which is obviously no good as I'm vegetarian) and Polo (which is no good as Nick is already carrying 40 kg in his rucksack so has no room for a pony)!
