Have had a relaxing day doing next to nothing. Spent the morning booking buses/hostels for our next destination and catching up on emails. Today we went on the Cuzco city tour and visited more Inca Temples than you can shake a stick at. If it moved the Incas built it a temple and not just any temple but a temple of extraordinary engineering and workmanship. Today we went on the Sacred Valley Tour. It cost $40 each and we had to buy a separate tourist ticket for 130 soles to go into the attractions. I had a quick look on the internet before leaving and some of the attractions on the tours were churches so we decided we wouldn't buy the tourist ticket and just pay for each thing we wanted to see. Slept okay last night and woke as we started our climb up the Andes to Cuzco. We were both amazed by the amount of villages and farms there were along the way - the only place people had not settled was at the very top of the mountains.
