Set off early to drop our campervan off and then headed into town to meet up with our fellow welsh supporters ahead of the game. We met a guy from Welshpool on the bus who was looking a bit strangely at me and then after five minutes he said "it's you off the telly I knew I had seen you somewhere before!" fame at last. Unfortunately he remembered me as I was praising the lager (not good!) Headed to the Irish bar as soon as we got to town and were swiftly followed...

Went for a bush walk first thing in the Kauri Forest next to our campsite which was a fab way to start the day. We then set off for our return to Auckland and got home early afternoon. Pete and Laura were not home so we were in charge of turning the alarm off and on which was a bit nerve wracking but we managed. Went out to meet the Brecon boys before heading off into town for a few drinks. Met up with some people we have met before but only found 4 welsh people ...

Woke this morning and we are both still gutted. I suppose I should document what happened yesterday as our day was fab before the game. We had an early start to go to Hamilton where we were to be judges in a beer pouring competition and not just any old beer but Stella Artois. Got to the pub by 10.30am and were served our first glass of lager; an hour later and they are still coming and Nick is getting very drunk as the other judges are driving so are passing ...

We are on our way to Auckland (yey!!) where we will be staying with Elaine's sister Laura for the weekend.
