We have hired another campervan for a few days to go up to the north of the North Island. We set off from Auckland at a reasonable hour but managed to get lost quite a lot (we were both too knackered to argue about whose fault it was which is a first) so didn't get to our first destination Whangarei until quite late. Went on a nice bushwalk and saw the Whangarei Falls and then continued on our journey north. We have parked up in a nature reserve in the middle of nowhere for the night and the wind is howling and the rain is lashing down it is just like Moreton Farm!
