Today we flew from Antanariva to Fort Dauphin a one hour flight on an airline banned from Europe..
All went well. Taxi collected us and took us to the right hotel! A small complex of bungalows on the beach at shipwreck bay. Very nice in an African way.....moscito nets, hot and cold water and a good supply of cold beer. And, WiFi!!! The march of technology is incredible.
Ate in the small restaurant on site, prawns with veg and potatoes, very nice indeed. Followed by fab pineapple cake.
We get collected tomorrow to go to the forest for our volunteering. Don't expect WiFi there but you never know.....
