Our alarm woke us at 5am quickly followed by the hotel's wake up call. We packed the last its and pieces and then check out of the hotel before catching the shuttle bus to the departures level of the airport.We lined up to get our boarding passes and check our bags in as we'd checked in online the day before. This morning we had a sleep in then went down for breakfast at the hotel. Today we went down to Lumphini Park in the morning. We walked through what appeared to be Bangkok's version of the "occupy" squatters camp and through to the lake in the middle of the park. We were taking some photos when Shell yelled out asking what the hell was swimming along near the bank of the lake. Yesterday we went to a couple of temples in the old part of Bangkok. We had to catch the sky train down to the station by the river then the Chao Phraya express boat for about 8 stops to the pier outside our first destination, Wat Pho. We asked which pier the boat to our destination was leaving from and they pointed us to the boat waiting at the pier, we walked down and were about to board the boat when we realised it was the "tourist" boat which charges about 3 ...

Today we went to the Pratunam Market again to buy some things then went to the observation deck of Baiyoke Tower, the tallest building in Thailand. We arrived at the tower and found the ticket office. Just as we stepped up to the window some guy comes running in and jumps in front of us.
