We woke up and had breakfast before checking out of the hotel and taking the hotel limousine to the airport for our flight to Phuket.As we got to the airport quite early we checked in and made use of the Bangkok Airways lounge to have a drink, something to eat and to use the free internet to check our email.Flight left on time and we were on our way to Phuket.

Arrived in Phuket on time and got some nice pictures from the plane as we approached Phuket Island.Met our airport pickup and were driven to Patong and our hotel, Amari Coral Beach Resort. After a sleep in we walked to the Pratunam Market for a morning of shopping. We found the market here to be cheaper than the others we had been to and bought a few polo shirts and souvenirs.After lunch we spend the day by the pool at the hotel before packing our bags for the flight out to Phuket the next day.

We got up early and picked up a small breakfast from hotel reception. The tour compnay picked us up at 6.30am and took us to their depot where we sat around waiting for others to be ferried in.We were on a large bus but it was about two-thirds full so not so bad. The bus trip to Kanchanaburi took a little over two hours.
