Set my alarm for 5....ughhhhhhhhhh it hurt to wake up. I had my gear all ready to go. This time put on the longjohns....and long sleeve shirts...it was going to be a bit chilly I figured. Packed up....grabbed a coffee....slurped half of it.....hopped on bike.....and hit the road.

Only a couple of choices to ride today....I figured its the home run...so keep it simple. I was just south of Waterton.....hmmmmm road to the sun....yaaaaa. could cut some time. I checked earlier and it was open. So I headed that way. It was chilly only about 5 c out... put me scarf on as I knew I was going to be climbing. Ripped through Kalispell and I beat everyone up I thing all the lights were still blinking yellow. I was on the highway in about 5 mins. Awesome. Off to the park I went.....big sign says road to the sun is open yay.....

Took the turn.......and proceeded into the park got to the gate...and... no one there....its on the honor system ... you grab an envelope and are suppose to drop 25 bucks in it drop it in the slot and proceed.....hmmmmmmm I don't got 25 bucks only 20's.... so I figure I'll grab an envelope and pay on the way out...maybe someone will be at the gate on the other side.... .ohhhhh and no one is here at all....very bizarre. Off I went.... you ride by a lake with not a ripple.....amazing view.....nice easy twists......get about 20 km in........then I hit a freaking road block...road closed.....WTFFFFFF!!!!! no way around it.....road to the sun is closed....no one here....I had no choice had to turn back....lets just say......that was a quick 20 kms on the way back,,,,farg....I was trying to save time.....glad I didn't pay....I was tickeddddddd...... ahh well there is a southerly road that skirts the park...I've no choice but to take it. Off I go

Uhhh there is no one on the road today.......got around the park in good time.... headed north finally.....and had a good cruise speed......almost got nailed by another deer....sheesh.... and the GPS told me to turn on a lil greyed out road the sort of cuts the corner on the way to Babb.....so I took it.....

HOLY CRAP was that a fun road.....no one on it....nothing but twists and climbs and drops and drop offs ....only about 20 km long...... but it made the day..... I made up some time on that road.......ohhh if was free range country....so had to watch out for horses and cows....sure enough a gaggle of horses were in the middle of the road at one point. Popped out on the main road and hit the border.....the dude really grilled me thought I made mods to me bike.....I was agast...dude....ya don't mess with perfection...... he let me go ..... Only thing was that I screwed up I should have picked up an Admiral of rum....only 30 bucks...by the time I remembered it was too late...no stores...sighhhhhh

Nothin but 4 lane now......set the cruze and made some time up.   I actually made some serious time up...... I did stop in Clareshome for a Timmy's.......and to lay on the front patch of grass for a bit..... It was nice out now.....other than that it was ride time.

Was putting along...and I always stay in the right lane except to pass...just makes sense.... n out of the blue a lil yamaha roadster with a chick at the helm pulls up behind me in the left lane she is leathered up......and everything....and she slowly passes me...I got the cruise on.....I don't care......off she went....no wave no nuthin.....she was like a mannequin on that bike never lane changed and always a lil bit ahead of me....... LOL......she finally pulled of looking for gas.....But not before we went through a speed trap....set up by motorcycle Sheriffs....... we were both above...she was ahead of me...... I grimaced.....went over the next rise n sure as kakadooo...there was the next Sheriff on a bike ready to pull ya over.....let us through...and got the guy behind us....in the car :LMAO....there is a brethren.......

Then there it was......the ole Anthony Hendy.......rolled up to the birdges and they are actually working on a Saturday...wow....but not much different from when I left...sigh...... txt'd Andy...... "Beer time"  he undomesticated himself long enough to meet me at OJ's....... Was in town at 2:30.....made some sereius good time....... that was one good beer..........

What a great trip...no plan.....just go and see where you end up.   I saw some amazing natural wonders....and no one was around...... that is what I look for on these lil walk abouts.

So in the end.....Mission Accomplished!!!!!

Work only bugged me a few times.....and I had to turn me mail off so I did manage to escape for a bit....
