Well an early rise again and we made it to Cairo....have to say..Royal Jordanian...nice....very liberal with the Champagne prior to departure. Cool flight, didn't know that we couldn't fly direct to Cairo...had to fly around Israel. Saw Mount Nebo (buried Moses there), the river Jordan, Jerusalem, all of the Dead Sea, tons of history down there....and a lot of desert. Flying into Cairo....flew right by the pyramids...nice touch.So no probs when we got her...

Hope you all are enjoying my ramblings.....in case your wondering Shauna does have editorial rights and she has exercised them.   It is actually pretty hard to write about this stuff . Some much to tell but the fingers keep speaking up with the ole "Dude wrap it up I'm about to cramp on ya!" stuff.  Hardest part also has been the net connections from the accident off the coast near Alexander....perfect timing! Okay so we start the day a little after 4:00 am....why you say...CAUSE WE ARE HOT AIR BALLOONING IT TODAY BABY!!!!! Right across the valley of the Kings, Valley of the Queens and Temple of Hatshepsut to name a few. I am feeling better today and Shauna is still Fine!So we woke up no probs and of course the crew got us a box breakfast for the morning cause who knows what will happen if we don't eat every ten minutes....ha ha. So we cruised all night to Luxor...

So what can I say....major sick all night....coughing and hacking up stuff I did not know existed...Shauna is still ok. She had a bit of a fever but she survived.So cruising down the Nile is pretty cool even if you are a bit sick. This ship/boat/whatever is sweet. You don't even know you are moving unless you look out the window, or are on the upper deck...she gets windy up there. The ship sailed late.....heh heh not sure but we think it was because of us.......

OMG the early mornings are killer.....and I think I've paid the ultimate price...got me a nasty cold. Crap! We caught our flight in the early morning no probs, we also met some neet folks Rick (head of Radiology department for some Hospital in Jersey) and his wife, Ingrid. They were a blast.
