Soo... we left Buenos Aires two days ago, had nuff of the big city life and needed a getaway. Took the boat across Rio de la Plata to Colonia de Sacramento, a beautiful small colonial style town, but awfully quiet. We had more or less decided in advance to only stay there for one night, and that seemed sufficient indeed. After Colonia we caught a bus to Punta del Este and checked in at a little place outside of town called La Barra. Arrived kinda late so haven't seen much of the beach yet, but we've already managed to attract a new fan club.

Everything's going smooth so far, we've even stayed sober for two consecutive days, we're not kidding you! Heading out o town right about now, checking out the Uruguayan night life. Punta del Este is pretty much a place for the rich and wealthy and it shows. Plan is to stay here for at least a couple of days, it's s*** expensive tho, so might have to move on due to our nonexisting budget.

Story of the day, how do brazilian guys pick up a girl. First, have 8 dudes swarm in on two chicks sitting by themselves. Secondly, let all the brazilian dudes give their best shot and miserably fail one after one. Third, enjoy seeing the brazilian dudes turn sour, grumpy and isolate themselves from their other dudes. Fourth, lean back and laugh your heart out. But it doesn't stop there. Fifth, when the chicks move, or goes away, have all the brazilian dudes follow them until they stop so they can have another go at it. The right word for the mating act of brazilian dudes would be INTENSE...
