DIET COOKIES! Ok, maybe not low-fat or low-cal or any of that low-whatever jargon. But these little beauties are so rich that you really can't eat more than 2… a day. Believe me, I tried. And I'm embarrassed to say that I had to spit the 3rd out in the trash, as tempting as it was to try to reshape it into it's former glory and save it for later. Kidding- mostly. So give 'em a try, we think you'll like. These are Nutella based, so if ya don't care for nutella then try substituting with peanut butter. This is a modestly adapted recipe from my demigod blogger Pioneer Woman and her faithful followers.
Ingredients
1 cup Nutella
½ cups Sugar
1 cup All-purpose Flour
1 whole Egg
Preparation Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 F.
Blend all ingedients together well. For added lusciousness, add semi-sweet chocolate chips.
Form into 1″ balls. Place on a cookie sheet. Press down firmly with the bottom of a glass or your hand. Bake 7-10 minutes or until set. Cool. These may be a bit unruly to handle while warm, so try to be patient and let them set up a bit on a cooling rack .
