Glad your monkies are well behaved! No need for a wrist rocket on your end? Sure? I'm certain you're tempted sometimes...
We havent' heard from Pam in quite a while. She has a new job and it's taking much of her time...either that or she's wisened up and cut ties from we wierd friends.
I heard that Matt is going out for football! I feel for whoever gets clobbered by him! We have moved from the beautiful riverfront into our old noisy, dusty, busy hood. But it's cool. We are now in number 9 which sports a nice little fig tree. Other than that, not much is new. You'll be excited to hear my olive oil has been shipped from Inter-cal and should be on it's precarious, long fateful journey. WHo knows if customs will stop it in it's tracks in Johannesburg (more than likely) but I will wait with bated breath all the same. Africa is one backwards place as you know. At least we have CHOCOLATE!

Wow! You captured some amazing shots. I love the Sabi river photos. What's with the monkey abuse? Rosie loves monkeys. Of course she's never been close to a live one. Speaking of monkeys, the boys both leave town Sunday for sport camps. Rosie will have all our attention, the little princess. We're going to see X-men 3 on Friday. It must be strange/nice not to have t.v., movies, or other distracting media. Hey, I'm off to do nothing but you didn't respond to my last post. Is their a better way to communicate?

Howdy Folks,
We (the infamous family) are perhaps happier than the two of you now that you have some precious truffle oil. Hopefully, we will hear no more about it. I made Paul feel guilty for not contacting you but now realize you had ulterior motives besides sisterly affection. Hey, on another note, how come Pammy doesn't post on hear? Tell her I said she must. What is the Santa Barbara news? Jo

HI Jo! Sorry for the delay. We are staying in a little rondola for a while. We will try to post some images of our 'house' to give you an idea, and of the surrounds. Leave it to the afrikaans to squish everyone together when they have all of bloody africa to work with! Anyway, it's comfortable and it's not in the dirt. The Tortoise is great to sleep in suprisingly, but a drag when you have to pee and decend the creaky metal ladder waking up the whole camp...do that 2 people times 4 a night! The only otther draw back is when Steve re-adjusts several times during the night, each time the truck swaaaaaaays back and forth like a metronome. It can make ya seasick!!
Glad Lee and all had a good time at the tournament. Did he kick butt? Where ARE you storing all the kids medals and ribbons; you must buy a larger house!
We will try to blog tonight and share all our trivial goings on...truffle oil maddness, bugs bugs bugs, more on monkies-those little devils, obnoxious neighbors, buzy bees and nasty leggy spiders, accumalting more crap then we know what to do with, and making critical conections.
TTFN!!

Hey,
Just looked at your new pix. The hippos are oh so cute! I loved the car pooling shot. Gotta get some eyelash extensions after seeing that crazy bird. Where have you been sleeping? How many nights have you slept in landrover? Hurry and answer my questions. Many listeners are dying to know.
Joanne
Hi Luv,
Memorial Day today, we did swim but no bbq. Dad is taking us (inc. Nana) to Piatti's tonight. Earlier this weekend I drove Lee and five of his polo teammates to Visalia (past Fresno) for a tournament. The games were fun to watch and we went to this cool bbq place for dinner and rode the mechanical bull. Lee has the bruises to prove it. On the way home the boys tried to hit the cars we were passing with spit wads including a suburban full with a Heche en Mexico bumper sticker on the back. They were the only car that seemed to care and raced up to us to give us the death stare. Well, gotta fly.
Love,
JO

So cool you finally signed on and navigated. It's great to hear about Rosie's track, Matt's football, and dare I say Lee's driving?? Please keep posting and letting us know what's been happnin' on your end! Missing you all terribly! Hope to hear from ya soon. ps. sorry the pix are mediocre but I keep saying 'it's just for the blog'. Hopefully better soon. TTFN

Joanne
Hello,
Anyone out there? Here is more Bearden news. Lee is now a licensed driver, yikes! Rosie did well in the track semi finals and will advance to the finals in all her events, 100m, 4 x 100, 4 x 400, and long jump. Did I tell you Matt is playing football? He is most interested in the cheerleaders'attire. The family looked thru your pix of Africa and were most impressed. The pix if the fine looking couple, Christina and Steve, now graces on our fridge. Mom probably mentioned we're doing a Euro cruise this summer. I am desperately trying to lose weight so I don't have to pack tent dresses. Mopsi is my workout buddy but she is not holding out too well. I can barely hear myself think over her labored breathing. I'm going to flit around your site some more. Love, Jo
Joanne
Yea, I found your site. Really, I mean I finally made an effort to call Mom get the address and summon all my energies to make contact. Haven't looked everywhere yet, but enjoyed the latest postcard. Please keep it up. We miss you terribly and love to hear what you are up to. Tommorow is Mother's Day and we're going to see "Thank you for Smoking". I think we'll get take-out for dinner and have a ping pong tourney. Lee is sick with a cold, lots of green goo. Poor baby had swim sections in Lodi yesterday. Won't be back for finals today, but did get a personal best time. I'll post lots now that I've found you. Love, Jo
Test
This is a test from the ABS....this is only a test. Do not attempt to adjust your set.
