...feeling very lucky to be sitting in this magnificent city and not be surrounded by hoards of tourists! It feels familiar to me: the sun is shining, not a cloud in the sky, no wind, just the sound of water in the Shakespeare fountain and strains of Michael Jacksons' 'Beat It' as street performers are cheered by the surrounding crowd! It's like a dream to be back here and days like this; just wandering and taking it all in, make it all the more sweet!
No rushing, no desperate time lines, no plans, no limits!
And, nobody but me to look out for, please and protect! Eat what I want, when it suits me, no complaints, no competition and no compromise! Bliss !
Lunch in the shade of the leafy trees in the square of Tuna & Sweetcorn sandwiches (only £1.99 from any corner food n wine shop)...
Think I might head on a famous 'London Walks' tour this afternoon: "The Old Palace Quarter": quench my everlasting thirst for anything Royal in this most regal of world cities!
