After a bit of hanging around our overnight bus finally picked us up to take us to Hue, bus was already packed so didn't sit together. About 5 minutes into the journey a lady started making really gross noises....she was being violently sick! Nice. The poor lady must suffer really bad travel sickness because she pretty much puked for the whole 10 hour duration of the journey, we heard every gloop, splutter, gurgle, reech and gush, the air con made made sure everyone on the bus got a whiff! We made a pit stop in the middle of the night and I found a toilet that could rival Indias wonderful bogs...it wasnt really a loo, more like tiled floor with a few holes in the side and a huge pile of what looked like Elephant dung in the middle. I refuse to believe that that could have come out of a human, but can't figure out how the Elephant got in.........

Anyway enough about bodily fluids, we arrived in Hue and found a lovely little room. We walked around looking for some beef noodle soup and then went back to our room for a while, I hadn't been feeling to good for the last few days and just needed to rest, Kam was quite happy to do the same and we had a real lazy day sitting under air con and watching a few films! It was really nice to do nothing for a day.
The next day we ventured out into Hue, we crossed over a very busy bridge over a pituresque river with mountains in the distance. We found the Citadel which is an old ancient city built within four great walls. There were old ceremonial halls and pretty tree lined roads within and we spent quite a few hours just wandering around and exploring, it was really quiet aswell. Very nice! We then ambled back across the river and mooched around a bit more before finding some dinner in the evening. I think the heat over the last week or so has been too much for us, I don'tthink it was even this bad in India, we find that we can only do so much in a day before becoming completely exhausted, so we are taking it very easy!!
Next stop is Hoi An.............................
