We went to Kurunda yesterday, which is a village in the rainforest. We got there on a skyrail which goes over the top of the rainforest and you stop for a walk through the rainforest and then to see Barron Falls. At Kuranda we walked around the markets and looked at lots of digaredoos. We had a lesson in one shop and I wasnt too bad by the end, I was better than Steve. We got the Scenic Railway back to Cairns which was lovely. The railway went over bridges with huge drops below us and beautiful waterfalls to look at. Today we have been on a cruise around the great barrier reef. We went on the sick boat to get there. There was lots of Japanese tourists on the boat and they were all being sea sick, it was a joke, so many people were being sick. We arrived at a Platoon in the middle of the reef. Whilst here we went on a glass bottom boat and a semi submersed boat to view the coral and fish. We also went snorkelling. The reef was very similar to what we saw on the Whitsundays. We saw a turtle in the sea and Steve swam above it watching it.
