We have spent the last two days sailing around the Whitsunday Islands on a Catamarange. On Wednesday we left from Airlie Beach and sailed out into the islands. We stopped at where Steve did a dive. He was down for about 40 minutes and has taken lots of photos on the underwater camera. I went snorkelling and you could see the coral below you and lots of colourful fish. The beaches are covered in dead coral. We then spent the night lazing on the boat, lying on the deck looking at the stars. On Thursday we had to get up at 730 for breakfast. We went to Luncheon Bay where we went snorkelling again. The water was so clear and you could see the coral and lots and lots of fish. We saw 6 huge fish about 2 foot long and we saw Nemo fish. Most of the fish were brightly coloured and different sizes. After luch we went to Whitehaven Beach. It was gorgeous. We walked up to the Lookout and admired the views, then walked along the baech. Had a dip in the sea, had to wear a stingersuit, which was a wetsuit so we didnt get stung. This morning we were woken early again, had breakfast and were out snorkelling by 830. Didnt see very much. We cruised around looking at the islands and headed back to Airlie Beach. We have had a great two days and the Whitsunday Islands were gorgoeus.
