For the last three and a half days we have been on a tour around Ulura, Kata Tjuta and Kings Canyon. We set off Monday morning bright and early, 6.30. We stopped first at a place we cant remeber the name off, we were supposed to stop at Rainbow Valley but it was closed. We left Darwin on 24 March to travel to Alice Springs on a three and a half day tour. On the first day we visited Litchfield National Park. We went to Wangi Falls, where we walked to the top of the falls, looking out for spiders on the way. Unfortunately you couldnt swim here as the water was to high because it was the wet season. Monday 21 March - My Birthday Had a lovely day yesterday. We checked into the hotel at 12.00 and didnt really leave for the day. We spent the afternoon swimming in the poola and sunbathing, relaxing in comfort. I then had a really long bath, with a facial, pedicure and hair done by Steve. We have found some more thinks to do whilst we are in Darwin. On Friday we visited the World War 2 oil tunnels. these were built during the war to store the oil in to stop the Japanese from bombing and destroying it. They were never used.
