We had the day all planned out when we got out of bed....but it soon changed!!! As the island is so small we thought it would be a good idea to hire some mopeds as everyone does it and it would have been a greay way to see alot of the island. 200 baht a day is a bargain...about 3 quid. Having never riden a moped we both had no idea what to do so we had a mini lesson and thought it seemed quite simple.....how wrong were we? Sarah started the engine up with too much throttle, wobbled into me and then ended up crashing into a street vendor spilling a few drinks on the ground. Meanwhile as she had bumped into me, I steered into a stand of mopeds and ended up there! Sarah had smashed the front light and chipped a bit of paint work which we had to pay for, only about 8 pound. I think we got away quite lightly regarding. It was clear to us that driving mopeds just wasn\'t a good idea nad returned them after about 2 minutes after hiring them!!! We decided to spend the day on the beach where we could do no damage. The water is crystal clear and the sand to so white and powdery....its like paradise. The evening was spent at a \'Ladyboy\' show.....don\'t laugh, it was really good. They looked amazing and to have thought that they weren\'t women was wierd....and they all had fab legs! Some even had boobs!!!
