Wake up and shower feeling a little rough, but I'm sure I'm starting to get a cold, so no beer today (well...maybe just 1). Beck is feeling rough as sand paper, but she gets up and we head out at midday to get cowboy hats and belts for tonights trip to the rodeo in Fortworth. We get them at Wild Bills and they look awesome. We head to TGI's for lunch which starts making everyone feel a bit better. After that it's to the 6th floor museum which is housed in the 6th floor of the book factory where lee Harvey Oswald supposedly shot JFK from. It's pretty sad. You can see the grassy knoll et al from here and you get a good idea that this would be a good location for the shooting. We then get a taxi to our hotel, get cowboyed up and head out for rodeo fun. We arrive at Fortworth and have a wander round and get some Mexican coke in glass bottles. Then some steak, 1 beer and we head across to the stockyard where we see: bull riding, lassoing, some clowns and cowgirl racing. They also get about 30 kids under 8 in the arena and release a calf and whomever gets the tag on it's back wins a prize. They do it later with a sheep and it's called mutton scramble! It's pretty crazy but awesome fun.
