Start off with early morning ballooning followed by champagne brekkie. The ballooning was really good but super hot on your head. Loads of dogs barking up at us and a scary landing at an elementary school! We get on the bus about 10am and head to Santa Fe. We stop in Santa Fe for some lunch. We get Cantina's and Jamaica juice from a street vendor who has been on a bunch of TV programs and is apparently pretty famous for his Cantina's. They're pretty good. Nice and spicy. We then go and visit Lorreto Chapel and it's famous staircase. It's pretty cool story (go google it). We then get back on the bus and drive thru to Amarillo just stopping on the way to spray paint some of the 10 Cadillacs at Cadillac ranch. In Amarillo we go to the big Texan steak house were 2 guys take on the 72oz 1hr steak challenge. They are trying to eat the biggest steak I ever seen, a baked potato, veg, a bap and 3 shrimp in 1 hr. They don't do it, but it's fun to watch. I, meanwhile, order myself a 110oz beer tower. Which I do finish. Beck is super proud of me for doing it and so heads home at midnight in the free limo. I head onto a cowboy bar with the lads which looks a little like the one in the Blues Bros (minus the wire mesh on the stage). Where I have a few more drinks and set the world to rights with Shane et al. We get the only cab in Amarillo home about 2.30am. 7:45 bags to coach will be fun tomorrow!
