Had a fever last night and had a rough night, didn't get much sleep. I was awoken at 3am to hear "this is the dallas police department, we know you're in there." at next doors room. Never did find out who's room they were at? Up at 7am and bags to coach at 7:45. We traveled from Dallas to Memphis. Stop off at Walmart for dayquil and enchinicea. Stopped at Texarkana and stood with a foot in each state, Texas and Arkansas. We saw the Capitol building were Bill Clinton got jiggy with Monika Lewinski. We finally get to Memphis and we have a history bus tour. We see the motel where Martin Luther King was assassinated. We met a woman who has been outside it protesting for 22 years against the private company that built a for profit museum on the site. We went to Beale street for dinner at King Palace cafe, there's a blues band playing in the corner, very cool. Me and Matt share a sampler of gumbo, ribs, crab cakes, pork shoulder but I'm feeling really ill so I can't taste much. We dander up and down Beale st. a bit taking in some bands and then head home. Hopefully feel better tomorrow!
