Not much happened today as we had to Travel from our motel, Beverly Laurel to our tour hotel, The Kyoto in downtown LA, Little Tokyo. We got ripped off by an old russian cab driver who charged us $40 for what should have been a $28 ride. But cabs seem to be expensive in LA anyway so we prob didn't do too bad. After yesterdays Universal Studios and Medieval times we decided today we should go see the real Los Angeles, so we went to sunset blvd, ha ha! We got the bus and went to sunset to see the Chinese theater and the Hollywood sign. The whole area has been done up since I was last there. It's now so clean and there's lots to do around Graumans. Today we got up and decided to have a healthy brekkie for a change. 2 granola, raisins and yoghurt in Swingers, our new fav LA diner. Once that's done we're ready for a day at Universal studios! We drove over, me driving, Beck worrying, and soon we where enjoying the theme park delights that $75 can buy you. Up at 7am to phone Post Office about Becks non-working credit card. skype wouldn't work in hotel so after much frustrated sighing we decided to go to Loris diner - this really cool classic Americana 1950's diner. It's hella sweet. We went to Loris for toast and coffee, got the credit card sorted and chatted to everyone on skype and then headed back to the hotel. Today's our last full day in San Fran and the only must-do thing we have left is to ride a cable car. We decide to go to the cinema for a cheap day out then get the cable car home. We head down and eventually find the place on the 5th floor of a mall, but the elevator only goes to the 4th floor! Weird! So we escalator up the last floor and decide to go see "The Town".
