Out for a last look at the canyon then on to Cortez. We stop at monument valley and get a rickity bus down where we see Indians selling stuff. I get my photo on a horse with a cowboy hat, lasso and gun. The monuments are awesome, really huge and pretty breath taking. Then we drive straight thru to Cortez. We get there about 6:30pm. Dinner at a Mexican at 7:30pm. I had a delicious lime Margherita in a fish bowl and a few Coronas. I had to ask the guy 3 times for the hot sauce, so he brings me the bats*** crazy hot sauce! We then walk to the local bar for some beers and mingle with the guys on our bus. On the walk home we see 2 scorpions and a weird fat walking bee!
