Hi guys i made it safely to bangkok finally on monday around 3pmish, 2 hours later than expected. Obviously BOTH my flights were late which really pissed me off, the first flight was delayed for ages then decided it was last call and 3000 people fought their way on to the plane! what a bloody nightmare, and i had to neck my glass of fizz for this. shame on Emeriates! then when we landed in dubai, i went straight to my flight to bangkok and that was delayed too because it was waiting for another delayed flight as half the passengers on my plane were meant to be on it so we had to wait for them. Seriously! how annoying!

on myflgitht to dubai i sat next to a lovely chap called Aman from india, but he now lives in darlo and he was proper darlo he was so sweet. He said he was from Chennai and he was heading back to see the folks. He eventually asked what my favourite curry was and of course i said Chicken Madras, and he was like thats where I,m from! Madraschennai its all the same place. I was most confused to discover actually being from Chicken MAdras! haha bless him, he kept me well entertained and he was pretty well travelled too so he was interesting. although when i asked him what his favourite country in the world was he said 'Australia' and I was like ooh thats where i'm headed mate (hey) and he was like 'yeah, it is so beautiful country, so mich there. you must visit this place ... cant remember the place' and anyway after this whole speech about Australia it turned out he had never acually been before... haha love it!! ooh just remember too when i was running for gate 26 in newcastle airport i saw a lady in a different gate with corn rows, a facinator AND a massive oasis style coat on too. how very random?!! i wish i knew where that flight was off too!! Also when i got on the aeroplane (does anyone ever call them that these days? there was a canny little man sitting down reading... wait for it... an actual book called 'pearls of wisdom' and he was making notes which i thought was amazing he mustnt think he has much wisdom kicking off in his old head. he was around 86 so to be fair i think he is probably so wise he could write his own version!!

When I got to dubai and i was waiting for my next delayed flight, when we were waiting to board the plane the nice little UAE man got on the speakphone and was saying some mint things he had the best crack ever. '1st class are boarding first, then zones C and F - please sit patiently whilst you await your results...' seriously i though i was waiting for a flight to thailand never mind my aids test results. luckily no results other than 'Zone F to board now' came. I swear if they had mentioned me by name i would have pooped my pants!! haha happy days!!

then when i got on the plane it turned out i was only sitting next to the real life beavis and butthead from hartlepool. they were hillarious, i was like 'where you off to?' 'a small place called Pattaya' haha obviously so i then told them my many adventures in Pattaya so they were well aware i know what goes on in there hahaha gutted.com. then after I said i was gong to Koh Chang first they decided they would 'probably' be going there too. haha. mint!! they were canny lads though and they really were just like beavis n butthead. the laugh and the facial features were hands down for sure.

Anyways so i arrive in bangkok go through immigration and get me stamp strasight into a taxi where the drivwer looked straight from a porn film. he was awesome! there was ;loadsa amensty international protests going on too which looked quite dodgy indeed. I got to my home in bangkok khao san road land of buckets and no ID required woohoo!! checked in to me lovely little budget room facing the main street so it was 'very noisy' as the receptionist told me. and then Jackie the bell boy ran off to my room with my bags and then asked if i was a geordie? seriously how do they know this s***. he then proceeded to tell me he was a 'coin collector' and he would love to get a english pound to complete the set. bloody hell indeed. so i gave him one as i figured shy bairns get nowt and he did say he could get me some cheap tabs if i wanted some... i dont smoke of course but it was a nice offer all the same haha. i went straight out for a chang (which i think has killed me) and a yellow chicken curry it was aammmmmazing. i then attempted to skype J9 in the bar i was in where everyone in there spent ten mins desperately trying to hear what i was saying. the screen kept going black and janines face kept getting stuck on what i beleve to be her poo face. she enjoyed telling me i looked like utter s***. cheers mate!! i do have seriously bad man flu and 2 7 hour flights with a blocked nose is never good for anyone!! after i had filled up on food and resisted all the amazinglycheap clothes, shoes, bags etc i then booked my self on a bus to koh chang for the morning 7.30 yey! i also saw several times man on khao san road who wears the silk PJs and big shades!! i even saw him from my bedroom window at 6am when i got up!! he is the original 'i'm never die'.

So in the morning i got up super early felt a bit better by then thank god, ran to the 7/11 for a croissant and some water and waited for my bus. and waited. the man in the shop was like dont worry he be here soon. eventually at about 8.30 my bus 'arrived' so off a dozen tourists trek down khao san with all our massive backpacks and water n crap, about 25 mins later (slight exaggeration) we arrived to our bus which was no where to be seen of course. another bus pulls up and some stupid european kids run on and thrown their bags under the hold while the rest of us are like 'do they know something we dont' 10 mins later they get off the bus that is actually going nowhere near koh chang. where are these europeans from? england of course doh! the education system is going seriously wrong somewhere... haha anyways the rest of us smart asses pissed ourselves a teeny bit when the thai men were shouting at them as they had now lost their luggage under the bus hold haha priceless. our real bus arrived finally and i ended up sitting next to a lovely crazy lady who reminded me a lot of some one i know very well ...Our Rose i am talking about you!! She was basically a proper cool as hippy type who travelled to thailand everyyear for 6 weeks! and she had been everywhere in the world apparently. and she was currently in thailand as she had spent days getting her teeth done here. she was off to koh chang to stay with some of her thai friends. she had some excellent concversations kicking off... one was how she loves peeing in the sea as it makes you feel at one. and she was confused how peeing in a swimming pool didnt have the same effect. we were then discussing bed bugs and she was like 'i'vr had em all me, headlice, bed bugs and public lice' oh how i really wanted to laugh but just couldnt. she told me at least 17 times about her having a water infection too and she needed to pee all the time. bascially if i had a baht for everytime the word pee was mentioned i could have bough koh chang on arrival. this is 6-8 hour bus trip!!

Anywyays when i finally arrived in koh chang i was starting to feel canny ill bad times. especially when i had a 45 min tuk tuk ride ahead of me on all them awful up and down roads. i was also looking for monkeys my whole way but saw none thank the lord. we were all dropped off at lonely beach and i headed towards the oasis bungalows i wanted to stay at but they were so far away and it was so hot and then i realised they were the opposite way to the beach so i quit that idea and headed down one of the little streets. on route 2 boys from my tuk tuk (coincidently the boys who got on the wrogn bus) asked if i wanted to share a 3 bed room with them... erm nope!! seriously before they even asked my name!! i said 'er what? i'm going down here' and ran for my life (not really ran as my backpack is so damn heavy) and got myself in to some canny little bungalow, it has mosquito nets which i love and a comfy bed. A guard dog that lives on my porch bit which is canny. i also have seen lizard too but he ran off when i spotted him. my bathroom is massive and the shower isnt even over the toilet and it is sooo cold its lush! who needs hot water when its 100degrees outside. my fan is actually really cold too which is mint and i was under the blanket last night to keep warm. but yeah anyways since arriving in koh chang i have had very bad stomach pains uh oh. i have been eating yoghurt and bananas and hoping for the best. this morning i got really early as i couldnt sleep and went for a walk along the beach, on route 2 dogs had a massive barney in front of me so i slight concerned i was going to get caught up in that but lucky for me i didnt. when i made it to the beach i noticed there were 2 huge cows just chilling out haha how cool its just like india! i also noticed a big buddha drinking chang made out of sand but i forgot to take a photo so i hope its still there later on!! when i wanted to head back to my bungalow which is like a 15 min walk back from the beach, a lovely Cypriot started chatting me up whilst on his motorbike and so yeeeeey i got a lift back!! he is called DJ and i beleive he is to be my new best friend on the island as he owns a bar and kebab shop haha. the kebab shop dont interest me but his bar is right next to my bungalow and he says its warm up for the big party tongith! i love thailand there is always a massive party kicking off any second!! anyways i think i will now be heading back to the beach for some sunshine times. love and hugs all xxxxxx
