Sunday - Today we went to Cambridge to see the art galleries. The first one we went to had two pictures that mum liked. She couldn't decide which one to pick. So we went out and went to tother art galleries and there we discussed which one we wanted. There was a pukako and a pigeon. I liked the pukako and besides the pigeon we had not seen and the edge was off ruled. We went and got tea and we finally got the pukako picture and went home for icecream. 

CavingI went caving with the scouts one weekend. I thought it was going to be like a tourist attraction. I was very wrong. When I got there with my friend, we were given helmets with lights. We were ready to go caving. On the first part of the journey we had to go down a muddy hill. I slipped every third step I took. On the bottom part I slipped again and the boy behind me said, "That's about the tenth time you've slipped so far."We came to a very fast f...

Sunday - We went out to the Coromandel. We drove for more than six hours! BORING! Tired when I came back, so I flomped into bed. 

Saturday - We did sweater shopping and went to the Hamilton Gardens. I went to a dinner party at my piano teachers house. I read a whole book. I ate supper and behaved very nicely. I played chess by myself and petted a cat called 'yippy'. 

Sunday - We went out to a beach that had lots of little turban shells. We saw cute little birds. We ate lunch and then we went to the shell death bed. It was full of shells on that beach. The sand was even crushed shells.
