This weekend we went down to the mountains Tongariro and Ruapehu. But first we went to a dam and watched the water flow through the once calm river. We also walked through the craters of the moon. After a fair bit of driving we finally came to the mountains. It was different from last time because there was snow on the mountains. At the motel we stayed in I had a wonderful supper of shrimp. I bounced on the trampoline with some kids until it was bedtime. 

Friday - Olympic Games. I stayed up until 1:00am. I loved the fireworks that led up to the harbour bridge. 

We headed up to Raglan. We saw moving seafoam. On the way back we saw dogs doing courses. 

Saturday - Today we went to the daffodil show, there were soooooo many different kinds of daffodils that I couldn't count them all. I bought a little cacti that was at least 5cm tall. The next part was orchids. I like the different kind of orchids. There was a display that I really liked. It was very neatly organized with different kinds of flowers. 

Sunday - We got up early in the morning and dropped Errol off to go for a dive. After we came back from the beach we went to Cathedral Cove. We were the only ones on the one side of the beach. We went and splashed in the waves. Then Meagan and I tried to go snorkelling, but the mask wouldn't fit so I just swam in the waves. We ate lunch in a garden cafe and in a flowering tree we saw a tui. After lunch we were outside and saw some tui's! They are funny wi...
