The next day we made porridge. At first it was too runny and then it was perfect. Then all the girls got into kayaks and started to paddle down the river. We came to near the bridge when we saw rapids. I was the first one up but I was pulled back down. Then we all finally got up the rapids and under the bridge. Then we came to a shallow part where we had to get out of the boat and walk it. I was getting out when I tripped on my canoe which went down the river and I was left in the cold stream. Then it began to rain and I was freezing. 

I went in Melissa's boat and she got my boat. Then we got back and I had no shoes or coat because they were wet. I had to go to the fossil beach without shoes! That night I slept inside. The next morning I built a rope bridge and I was on the other side. It was raining in sheets. I had to cross the bridge and go inside. Cold! I got home and put my shoes out to dry.
