Sapa Day Two ....

Today we had a 12km trek mainly downhill in the muddiest, slipperiest route down the mountains.

It was so funny seeing some people really not able to cope, but I think everyone fell at least once, so for the rest of the day I had a big dirty mud mark all over the left side of my shorts. My fall was trying to get up a bank to find a 'not as slippery' path... I knew it wasn't going to go well when I couldn't even lift my leg high enough to get on the bank!!

We walked through the minority villages and bought some bracelets as I felt I needed to give our guide something, as she only gets paid $4 for today, and the other children and grans helping everyone didn't get paid!!
