This morning we caught the ferry too the south island the trip was good the sea well it had no waves in it completely flat and as for Wellington supposedly being windy I don’t think I can name anywhere that is less windy! The ferry trip was really amazing we left quite early so the sun was still coming up. This made the trip almost magical, once we lost all sight of land we headed indoors to the warmth. Emily sat down and read her book and myself well I headed of to explore the vessel. It wasn’t huge but big enough for me to be gone for an hour. When I got back to Emily she had nearly finished her book. It was a big book later in the day we were reading some menu or something A4 size she had finished and sorted other stuff before I had got 1/3 done!

We arrived at Picton quite quickly I thought it didn’t seem like the three hours it was supposed to take.

We took a steady drive to nelson and already you can see the difference between here and the north island. When we arrived at our campsite in nelson one of the first things I spotted was a bmx jump park right across from our tent, I was a bit gutted that I didn’t have anything to jump them with!

The campsite was really good it was like new but it wasn’t they had a huge kitchen bigger than you would expect for a hotel also a TV and internet access.

I went for a bit of a ride in the afternoon back the way we had driven I wanted to climb a certain hill, 40min after I left the bottom I was at the top! My god what a view!
