Back to Victoria for our 2nd stay in Australia. All nicely planned with our friends: a stay in their holiday home in Gippsland for a couple of nights. A pleasant flight back over the Southern Alps and West Coast, from a slightly higher altitude than our previous experience! A morning arrival at the very busy Melbourne Airport- passport control was pretty hectic with confused people at the e-passport route out. Once through we quickly hailed a taxi and arrived at Eltham just after 9am. Wash, change, unpack & pack for the short stay in Meeniyan. Dogs & rabbits fed & watered. Directions noted. Off again, using Gayle's car, for a drive to the coastal area which is very close to Wilson's Prom, a National Park popular with hikers and campers. The drive was straightforward and the driving easy too. The weather had been quite good but was taking a turn for the worse- a cold wind with showers was forecast. We were looking forward to exploring the area despite weather conditions.
